Packaging for Tissue Preservation

Rollprint’s dual pouch system consists of a standard “inner” Tyvek®/Clear Film chevron pouch with a corresponding “outer” ClearFoil®/Tyvek®/Foil header pouch. The materials used to fabricate the pouches are suitable for freeze drying, gamma irradiation and other methods.

A tissue or bone graft is placed into an “inner” chevron pouch and the pouch is then sealed.

After sealing, the “inner” pouch is placed into an “outer” header pouch. The “outer” header pouch is then sealed at the outside end of the header. The breathable header strip enables you to perform any necessary cryopreservation process.
